The Solaris Turbo Plus is the most popular of the 500 series machines.
It is certified as a HEPA Vacuum cleaner (when used with the Miele
HEPA filter). It generates 140 cfm's and has improved locking mechanisms
to enhance the parking positions for both the Turbo Nozzle and bare
floor tool, both of which are standard with this vacuum cleaner.
This "park system" allows one to attach the wands to the machine
itself so that the machine can be carried with one hand or "parked"
without the wands left lying on the floor.
Additionally, the wands on this machine are adjustable or "telescopic"
meaning they adjust from short to long to fit your needs. The machine
may also be used as a blower, and the opening to the machine may
be sealed when it is stored thereby preventing odor and dust leakage.
Its six-position power adjustment allows for variable amounts of
suction meaning one can clean both the deepest dirt, yet reduce
suction for delicate items. The hose rotates completely, at both
ends, and its soft rubber wheels swivel 360 degrees so the machine
travels easily in all directions without marking soft wood floors.
The bag sits in a "ribbed" compartment, which allows air to flow
without the cleaner losing suction as the bag fills and the bag
even seals itself as it is removed so that the dust and dirt do
not interfere with its removal.
The machine has a built in cordwinder, as well as a crevice tool,
upholstery tool and adjustable dusting brush all of which store
under its tool lid. The Turbo nozzle is ideal for both Oriental
type and low pile carpets and will also clean bare floors while
its parquet floor tool allows for easy, gentle cleaning of larger
bare floor areas.
